Abram's Creek Wetland Preserve

The Abrams Creek Wetlands Preserve (ACWP) is a permanently protected 25-acre wetland and natural area.  Although bisected by railroad tracks and surrounded by homes and other development, the wetlands support a remarkable diversity of plant and animal life that has attracted considerable attention from biologists.

Parking is available at the Abrams Crossing commercial center on West Jubal Early Drive, and walking and biking to the preserve is encouraged. 662-4946. www.winchesterva.gov/parks.
